Speaking of Pacifiers and Breastfeeding/Pumping

We hadn't planned on using a pacifier on the baby bc no one in either my family or MH's family or their children have ever used pacifiers.

Do you think if we don't introduce one before I go back to work baby will have a hard time accepting a bottle?

Or it won't matter as long as we introduce the bottle early enough.

  • I think babies are really good at knowing what gives them food and what gives them just comfort so I don't think it would be a problem.
i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.

  • I wish we had introduced a pacifier at day one. DS loves to suck for comfort, but just can't seem to get the hang of the pacifier.

We did a bottle of pumped breastmilk on day three to give my boobs a break. Best decision ever. It is so nice to have that option now and know DS can take boob or bottle.

  • They say to wait at least two weeks before introducing a paci.
