Re: Weekend Plans?

  • Fri: After work An n is going out for wings and beer with a co-worker. I am going to curl up on the couch and watch this netflix movie that Ann would never dream of watching: it is foreign with subtitles.

Sat: I am not leaving the house until I HAVE to. Ann is working and then possibly going out to see her friend that is visiting from NC. My friend K is in from IN to celebrate her birthday with family during the day and we are getting dinner and drinks in the evening sans babies!

Sun: SLEEP IN! We have pictures scheduled for Ky and her two cousins for mother's day gifts for Ann's side of the family in the afternoon and Ky still does not have a shirt to match her cousins so I may have to shop at some point before 4.

  • Today I'm working a half day and then we are having what i'm dubbing my "Living Social Day".  First up is hair and make-up (thanks to a living social deal), then down to the beach with the family for pictures (thanks to a living social deal), then dinner out (thanks to a...well, you get the idea Wink )

Tomorrow RB has dance class and Sprout has tball.  I'd like to make it to the gym at some point.  The rest of the day is beautifully open.

Sunday is TBD.  friends asked to get together at some point, but otherwise open.

  • I have a great weekend coming up!

Fri:  Work, and then going to the movies with my parents.

Sat:  Last day of our winters market, then haircut with mom, then it's birthday time!  Our bff/sister/platonic 3rd wife is turning 29 and she's coming to visit us!  So excited.  I'm trying to plan a special WW meal to celebrate.  I'm thinking grilled quesadillas.  Now how about dessert?  Angel food cake with fruit?  That should suffice.

Sun: WW pancakes and good-bye to friend.  Then we'll work in the garden on Earth Day. We might make a rain barrel!

ETA: I forgot the most important task!  Saturday morning I'll get an ultrasound to see when we trigger and inseminate!!!!

  • I don't know. my baby is sick, and I'm sick (although still at work other than Wednesday when I had to go get him from daycare and take him to the dr to get antibiotics). tonight hopefully resting. tomorrow probably working on the kitchen. Sunday my wife is working OT and I'm supposed to be having a GTG with some friends, hopefully we'll be feeling up to it.
  • Friday: Waiting for BIL and SIL to come by to help clean the house/yard for the baptism party we are hosting tomorrow.  Movie night with the kids, bed.

Saturday: J has to leave early in the AM for the church, she is the baby's godmother.  I will hang out with the kids and try to help my in laws decorate before the party.  Party is from 4-midnight, right outside my bedroom (well thought out SIL, you can care for my screaming baby when she is overtired and can't sleep).

Sunday: Try to sleep in.  I need to wash all of Monster's laundry because he is going to a family member on Monday.

  • Tonight we are all going over to have dinner with the family of one of the boys' classmates. I need to stop and pick up dessert before we go.

Tomorrow the kids have swimming lessons and L has water aerobics. After, I need to go to Target and go to the grocery store to get stuff for a baby shower I am going to on Sunday. That evening, the kids are going to Parents Night Out at the gym. I am not sure what L and I are going to do. There was some talk about going to the Melting Pot for drinks/apps. I wish there was a movie out what we wanted to see.

Sunday L is leaving in the morning to go to a conference for most of the week. I am taking the kids with me to the baby shower (the host has a son the same age as the boys.) Not sure what we'll do after since it is supposed to be cold and rainy. Boo.

  • We will be taking it pretty easy all weekend...dinner at home and some TV tonight.  Saturday K will probably go bird-watching in the morning, and then it will likely be housework and yardwork for the afternoon.  Sunday is church and then another take-it-easy day at home.  I'm looking forward to just relaxing!

  • I'm finishing a paper that is due by the end of the day for a grad class I am taking, then hoping for a relaxing weekend. Probably lots of POAS. ;-)

Saturday: house work, laundry, relaxing on the couch, maybe hanging out with my bff at some point.

Sunday: brunch with a high school friend and his wife, taking the dog for a hike if the weather holds, then getting ready to head back to school. So long vacation!

     Have a wonderful weekend all!

Friday - out to lunch at our favorite place for fish tacos, inseminating, driving back to Chicago.

Saturday - Volunteering in the morning while C works.  Fixing all my problems with the library (overdue book, lost library card). Planning and shopping for the detox/elimination diet I agreed to do when I saw the holistic doc.  Then maybe dinner out, as it will be my last dinner out for a while.

Sunday - Probably getting some stuff done around the house and then having a relaxing day.  I want to do some sewing (or more accurately, pinning and cutting) and reading.  Or maybe if C is really antsy, a museum.

Same sex couple TTC with donor sperm.  I am 35 and carrying.  Endometriosis and DOR.
    AMH 0.5, AFC 5-8, FSH 7ish

IVF #1 - antagonist.  Empty follicle syndrome.  1 retrieved, 0 fertilized.
    IVF #2 - antagonist.  Ovulated early.  3 retrieved, 2 fertilized, 0 blasts
  • Tomorrow I have infant safety/CPR in the afternoon. Jen isn't going because she is past the point of being able to sit in one chair for three hours (and way past the point of getting down on the floor, if there is any of that involved). I need to mow the lawn and plant a strawberry plant my mom brought over, fill out the parts of the baby books that we can fill out before the birth, and put together a list of people we want to notify when they are born. It's supposed to be gorgeous and sunny all weekend, so I also plan on logging some relaxing-in-the-backyard time. Perhaps I'll tackle the stack of newspapers I have on the kitchen counter, or, ahem, one of those many baby care books we have sitting around... :)

  • Fri Enjoying the last days of my vacation. I bought stuff to make pizza so maybe we will make that for dinner tonight.  I think when E wakes up we might go to the park.

Sat:  Supposed to be the best day of the weekend so we should do something outside. Perhaps just a park run or the farm.

Sunday Get ready for school and back to the grind.  Booo!

  • Crazy weekend...

Tonight - 'nothing' but I fear it'll turn into something.

Saturday:- take the two dogs and cat (who hate each other) to the vet at the same time. We'll then get ready to go out for dinner and dancing with a friend. She's older than us and wants us to show a baby *** friend of hers 'the scene'. We're about as far out of the scene as possible. Ho hum.

Sunday:- V has softball, I'll go to yoga, then we'll go and help our friends E&D with their playroom. D is 7 months pregnant, so she can't really lift anything, so we'll help move out the bed and other furniture that's in there at the moment and potentially start painting. We love those guys, so can't wait.

    Sunday night - Breathe :)

  • Friday:  Work (at which we had a Chili Cook Off during lunch, I'm on the social comittee so it was a busy morning)  Our Black & White Steak Chili Mole didn't win - oh well :).   Tonight EV is going to hang out with her little brother (the middle one) and take him clothes shopping for his birthday last week. I'm excited to go home and curl up on the couch.

Saturday: Is pretty open, we're looking at a rental (still debating between renting and owning, moving or staying for a bit in our current apartment).  Rest of Saturday could be dedicated to napping... Sounds luxurious right now.

Sunday: We're having breakfast with our friend and donor (for this baby) and then visiting a few Open Houses in the Berkeley area before joining another recently befriended couple (lesbians with our same due date of July 7th) in Piedmont, Oakland for coffee/tea, etc.

Somewhere in there a couple of visits to the dog park, and starting in on this baby laundry will need to fit in. Oh, and homework - how could I forget ;-)

  • Hello! I am new (well newish...) to this group (I have been reading off and on for a while) but am excited to get posting...My fiance and I will start TTC in October (after we get married).

This weekend should play out like this:

Friday: Crafting and waiting for Chris (my fiance) to come home from work and making dinner.

Saturday: Gym, cleaning, and then dinner with Chris and movie night.

Sunday: Gym, preparing for the week, and my Sister and BIL will come over for dinner and to watch Once Upon a Time...

Pretty boring but looking forward to relaxing!
