Strep Throat Question

DD just tested positive for strep yesterday.  She's been throwing up since about 1 yesterday and even though I've had strep many times, I've never thrown up from it.  The doc says this is normal...do you know how long it will last?  Poor baby is miserable!  We started amoxicillan last night, so I know that usually takes 24-48 hours to kick in, but not sure when the throwing up will stop!  Thanks!

    I have heard that children can throw up from strep throat.  My son and I have been battling strep throat recently and it seems it takes a day or two until the antibiotic kick in and reduce/stop the symptoms.

    Hang in there, it should stop soon!
