induction in AM

Well, I am scheduled for elective induction tomorrow morning at 8am and have so many things running through my mind.  With DS I was induced at 37 weeks for low fluid and only had a few hours from decision for induction until the actual induction so I guess I have way too much time to think.  I actually just had some cytotec for cervical ripening at night with DS, and then they broke my water in the morning and I labored and delivered before noon.  They will be breaking my water in the morning and I'm hoping my body will gradually begin laboring thereafter, but I guess we will see.  I have pretty much given up hope, but it would be super nice if my water would break or I begin laboring on my own some time tonight.  really, this is just rambling about the things on my mind since it feels like sleep won't come anytime soon.  thanks for listening.

(Can't believe I will meet LO tomorrow and get to find out boy or girl.  Doesn't even seem real!)

Good luck!!  I won't bother saying, "try and get some sleep" because I know how excited you must be!  Do you have a feeling one way or another on the gender?

I am thinking girl and have been before I even had a positive pregnancy test, but we will see.  I slept for 3  hours and now woke up contracting every 3-6 minutes or so.  I am not timing them, but they seem about that far apart.  I know I am not in active labor yet, but I am so excited that my body is doing *something*.
