I am an active member of TTCAL and was informed by my midwife that I should slim down. I was just wondering if anyone uses Loseit.com and could give some tips or ideas to get started.

I LOVE LOSEIT! i used it about 2 years ago like it was my religion and I lost about 15 lbs.. i was in the best shape of my life last summer, largely attributed to loseit and semi-daily workouts. In fact one of the reasons I got an iphone was just to use the lose it app. (its free. get it!)
Lose it only works if you enter everything you eat.. right after or before you eat it. you can also customize for specifics foods you eat. For instance, every morning I have the same breakfast, so I made a custom food that was the caloric equivalent of my breakfast. it makes it so easy because you just set your daily calorie intake (run it by a dr to make sure you are eating enough) and then the bar fills up as you eat throughout the day. towards the end of the day you can see if you have room to eat something more.. a snack, a fruit, a cookie etc.. or if you went over the limit and are in the red
there is a debate on loseit's forums as to whether you should enter your workouts to account for the calories you burn. but the forums on there are very helpful. i hughly reccommend lose it... I was about to start it again but then I got a BFP so now Im just concerned with eating healthy and not calorie intake. GL!
