Preemies

Going back to the NICU in September

But this time, as a pharmacy student. I get to help other preemies get healthy so their mommies can take them home :) And yes, it's the same NICU where the boys stayed after I delivered! You probably think I'm weird, but I'm pretty excited about it!

  • No, I think that's great! Our NICU didn't have any cuddlers so eventually I'm going to volunteer there. Most of the other babies didn't have regular visitors and I won't ever forget that.

That is really neat! When I was in pharmacy school, I don't think that there was a rotation available for the NICU.

I am a nurse and work in adult cardiac critical care at the hospital that I delivered at. There has been times that I have considered going to the nicu to the progressive care nursery to work. I have such a passion for the babies and the nurses that care for them. I want to be able to help people that go through what I did.
