Bleeding

I'm 35 weeks and some change, and I noticed streaks of bright red blood on my underwear earlier. Not a lot, but enough to get my attention. Then when I wiped the tp had pink tinged discharge. Baby is moving like normal, but I have felt a lot of pressure in my pelvic region, like she is pushing down. I called the doc and she said to put a pad on and lie down for awhile. Meanwhile, I'm freaking out. Do you girls think I should go in anyways or should I just try to stay calm and rest?

My BF had both of her girls between 34 weeks and 36 weeks. If you start having contractions make sure you time them. If there is bleeding the next time you use the restroom and no contractions, I would not hesitate to go to L&D. Just so they can check you, You may just have started dilating and sometimes that does it. I started dilating at 34 weeks but didn't have my baby till the day after due date. Don't hesitate if you think you should go.

I think I would rest for a little while, but if you are still anxious, upset, or still bleeding I would definately call the OB back and tell them that you are very concerned and would like to be checked.

This... and as hard as it seems, just try to relax and not stress out...

any blood before full term would make me nervous. I'm 39 weeks and I haven't seen a drop of blood since my last period. I would go to the hospital or doctor just to be safe

Have you had sex recently? I had some spotting a few nights ago and the doctor said it was most likely from sex the night before. Just one possibility.

Is it spotting or bleeding?  If it's not enough to fill a liner in a couple of hours, I wouldn't worry too much.  If it's more than that. I'd call back.  

I had spotting for over a week, but not really bleeding.  The doctor said it could be sex, like a PP mentioned.  It could be nothing.  But if there's very little bleeding and no pain, it's usually nothing.
