Who has a Target Redcard Debit Card?

What's the catch? Is it really just linked to your bank account..I can't find anything about fees or charges? It just sounds like there has to be a catch to saving 5% every time & it coming outta your regular checking account.

I have it. There is no catch that I have ever had or heard of. It is linked to an actual bank account. I went to the Customer Service Desk and gave them a voided check from the checking account. You have to remember to deduct the amounts you swipe from that account. I thought it was a little too easy at first too. The state tax in MD is 6% so I look at it as getting everything ::almost:: tax-free.

I'm going to get it. My mom and sister both have it and it appears there is no catch. I got my husband to read over all the fine print on the hand out just to make sure.

It is the most awesome thing ever and there is no catch. It links directly to your already existing checking account and there are no fees. When you swipe it at the register is takes 5% right off of your purchase. And if you join their pharmacy program every 10 prescriptions you fill you get a 5% off coupon and you can combine both for a 10% off shopping day. I save those for big shopping trips
