my issue with Great Beginnings

A friend of my sister's told me that she found her baby furniture at Great Beginnings and really liked the prices/selection there. So I decided to look for their website and just found it. Now they may have great stuff, but I'm instantly turned off!!

(warning: geeky graphic designer comments ahead)

They (over) use two of the WORST fonts ever: Comic Sans and Kristen. Blech! Seriously? They are a big, successful company and they choose to make their website look totally craptastic with those terrible fonts? What a shame...

The website SUCKS but the store is baby crap mecca, so fab! It is my local baby stuff store. The stroller section alone will blow your mind.

Two great stores with horrible websites:  Buy Buy Baby and Ikea.  I still shop at both, but man, do they need an overhaul.

Yeah, their website is crappy.  I have been able to get some good deals on their website though!  (crib mattress, pack and play, etc)
