XP from August BMB: WWYD Ultrasound follow up

Hey Ladies! DH and I just got back from our monthly appt. with the midwives. They had the info in from our a/s almost 3 weeks ago. Evidently, the radiologists suggest that we come back in for a better look at the heart. They didn't mention any concerns, it seems like they just didn't get a good look. She has a strong, steady heartbeat and we clearly saw 4 chambers pumping away so i'm pretty sure everything will be fine. The midwife said she doesn't care either way. My main concern is that if there is something amiss, it could change our plans for a birth center birth and i'd like to have all that in place beforehand but, on the other hand, i'm not too keen on having any more u/s than necessary and we're paying out of pocket for all of this.

I would definitely go- one of those "better safe than sorry" things imho. good luck

I agree with the PP.  Peace of mind is worth more to me than the cost of an u/s.

From the sound of it, it doesn't seem like a totally unnecessary US, so I would go in and get it redone. Fingers crossed they find a big healthy beat
