I am 5"1 and having a problem finding maternity pants. If you have some you like. Please tell me where you got them.If they are full pannel pants/jeans.Even better.
I bought some full panel jeans at Old Navy--short wasn't available so I got regular length and had them hemmed at a tailor.
I've borrowed a good bit of maternity clothing from a fellow short friend, and there were several pairs of petite maternity pants from Motherhood, Duo (not sure where that brand is carried), etc. I am 5'4'' with short torso and longer legs, so I can get away with regular length sometimes too, but all the pants I got from her all seem to work, regular and petite. The full panel pants are mostly regular length rather than short or petite, but work with flats for me.

All of my work pants came from Destination Maternity and I think they are the Motherhood brand. They are full panel and I got the petite sizes. I wear alot of heals so I actually got some tall petites as well but the petites regulars are a great length and I can only wear flats with them but I am 5'3". I would recommend going to the store and trying them though because they have so many different pants and the pair my Mom purchased for me were awful, although the length I will say was good. If you want I can look them up and send you the link.
I am 5'1 as well I am just doing the rubber band through the loop trick right now.I don't plan on buying any pants. As far as shorts I'm going a size up for summer. I would rec going on motherhood maternity they have a great selection of pants and shorts. I tried on a pair of full paneled shorts and they were comfy.

I am 5' and found the motherhood petite to be very petite - I can only wear them with flats. Old Navy petite is made for 5'3, I believe so they're a bit longer.
I'm in Texas, so I've been able to wear shorts and dresses already. I got a pair of maternity jeans from a friend who is four inches taller than me, since the weather's great I haven't bothered to hem them, I just fold them up into capris/pedal pushers. I think wearing capris actually makes me look taller, and distracts a bit from baby belly
Love Old Navy's maternity shorts - but mostly I'm just wearing a size or two up, I'm 5'2" and was in a size 1/XS before pregnancy, and while I've gained 22 lbs so far, I'm still not big enough to fit a lot of maternity clothes (with the exception of Old Navy's XS) The belly panel will be really loose, or the butt will be loose/not flattering. *sigh* ready to be done with maternity clothes, I hate maternity shopping, I want my body back and an adorable baby to buy clothes for.
Motherhood, the Indigo brand and Old Navy. But I am SUPER crazy about how my jeans lay over my shoes, so I buy regular lenght and hem them myself. I had to learn a long time ago because sometimes the short length just doesn't sit right. I also buy full pannel because the mid or low one bothers me. Apparently Im a little crazy..
I got some good jeans at Motherhood and Gap. I have not had luck anywhere with pants that are not jeans, other than leggings. The ones I tried from Old Navy were GIGANTIC, even the smallest size, and I didn't really like the fabric either. I'm mostly just sticking to skirts/dresses if I have to be less casual than jeans.

Re: short ladies?
JC Penney too.
Though, I ended up pinning some of my pants up...

Thyme Maternity has amazing clothes and petite sizes. I have never had pants fit me so well, who knew I just needed to be pregnant?
Good luck
