Hello,

I haven't been bumping since before DD arrived so I thought I would come back now that I'm back to work

I know everyone probably already shared their birth story since it is April, but DD was almost a Feb baby!!! She was born on her due date, not a day early and not a day late. I thought for sure I would go early since DS was born 6 days early. I had contractions all day on the 30th, almost every 10 minutes, but I kept on working. Once I got home and settled in for the night, the contractions started to get closer together. I had my handy little contraction timer on my phone that helped keep track. When I had DS I actually had to write them down LOL. Around 3am contractions were 5 minutes apart so the hubby thought it was time to get going. We got to the hospital around 3:30 and I was 5cm. I waited til 7cm to get the epidural, I was trying to hold out but the back labor was horrible. So after 6 pushes Haley was born at 9:07am weighing 8lbs 6oz and 20 inches long.

I just returned to work, I was off for 10 weeks and I loved every minute of it. Of course it was stressful with two little ones, but we managed. My son just loves his little sister and did not have any jealousy after she arrived. He's such an awesome little guy. I've been breastfeeding since she was born and now I'm pumping when I'm at work, and luckily I haven't had any supply issues...yet. With DS it was day to day with supply, but I made it to 11 months with him so I have the same goal with DD.

Well, I just wanted to share my quick little birth story and I look forward to seeing how all the babies grow!!! I'm off to pump
