Decision to switch OBs made for me...

I went for my first OB appt at 9 weeks on Monday. I was apprehensive about talking to my OB about my desire for a med-free birth. We had briefly touched on it at my annual last year and she had a very negative reaction to my mentioning pitocin. I had a list of open-ended questions that someone had posted a link to a couple weeks ago.

 So I had my ultrasound, labwork, and then the OB talked to me. I was working up to asking her the questions when she revealed that she too is pregnant. She said I could stay with her and then have a new OB when she goes on maternity leave or I could switch now.

 I already had a recommendation for an OB that was more supportive of med-free births and she was one of the names mentioned as taking new patients. So I guess I'm set! I do plan on asking her the questions when we meet next month,
