Gdiapers question

I've been trying to find the answer to this question on the gdiapers website, but I'm having no luck. The gcloth inserts have two sides. One that is off white and one that is white. The pure white side is a little softer. Does anyone know which side should be touching baby's bottom?

Pure white. The off white is hemp and absorbs more slowly than the other side.
