I just found out via letter the week before last. My RE is leaving the clinic I went to because he is moving out of town. It sounded like a different location / opportunity for him rather than "differences" or anything like that. I had figured by the time I go back for baby 2 that there would be at least some staff changes. I'll miss seeing my doctor though. The clinic has a team approach to treatment where the doc coordinates with his/her nurses, which was a great setup. For all the times I was in there it was nice to have everyone on the same page.
Ya, the other doctors there are great. I'll probably need to call and switch my main doctor there. If she's taking "new" patients the doc that he was paired with would be a good choice. She did one of my Saturday u/s's. I still need to call them anyways to ask about donating my leftover meds (DH didn't want me to first tri, then I keep forgetting about them in their spot in the fridge).
I'm sure I'm not the only one with doc staffing changes, just thought I'd share. In the 5 months I was there I felt close/well taken care of by everyone. Of course the frequent visits helped, along with the staff there.
