Sinus surgery?

Anyone's LO had sinus surgery and/or adenoids removed? We just got back from the ENT and DS's sinuses are completely blocked. He will be having surgery in a few weeks and having his adenoids removed. Anyone been there? Have any tips?  Thanks!

    Both my kids had it.  DS1 had it done with hernia repair and DS2 with tubes.  Both were fine in a day.  Just have sugar free Popsicle on hand.
