Hello my dear!!!  I agree, it has been waaaay too long.  The new job keeps me pretty busy and I am doing a lot of traveling to meet people in the organization.  I enjoy it and it is soooooooooooooooooo much better than the last gig!

I miss you guys and TB like crazy!  I feel so out of the loop on everything.  I haven't really had time to go back and catch up.  I seem to only be able to pop in and out; but I do think of you guys often.

How have you been?  I can't complain.  I think DH and I are going to do something in the next year or not at all.  I'm tired and ready to move on with my life.  I have researched a few frozen DE REs so you know I will be hitting you up later.  :-)  Are you on FB?  Not that I check that regularly either but it would be nice to be connected.  I'll shoot you an email because with my privacy settings, you would never be able to find me.  :-)

I hear ya, I am tired too and took what seemed forver to finally make our decision to continue with this cycle.  We were really back and forth on it.  I think for me I just didnt want to look back in 5 yrs and wonder what if or regret not doing it while we had the chance. 

If you are considering DE once we connect on FB, I can add to to a PRIVATE DE/Dembryo/DS group.  Lots of great info.  Just let me know.

Glad you are liking your new job.  I hate that I feel like I live to work...I go to bed to wake up to go to work.  There has to be something more to life than just working and having a couple fun days in between.  There is, it's parenthood...

Just jumping to say hi ladies!

I called my RE's office yesterday to get an idea of what this DE cycle is going to cost and how much my insurance will cover.

Well, the financial coordinator called BCBS and wasn't really able to determine if DE is covered.  Basically, it didn't say that is wasn't covered.  So, she downloaded the whole benefits book and sent it to the billing group to figure it out.

When I called about 2 years ago, I was told it was covered except for the Donor Fees.  So I am trying to not stress about this.

What?!?!  Are you kidding me?  I hope it is not an issue...i am so irritated for you.  When will you hear something?

I don't know.  Hopefully by next week.  What I am really scared of is that it will cover IVF for me, but not DE.  Because then it would be tempting to try again.  But I am really over that battle.  I am ready for better odds of success.  And I even found 2 donors at HFI that I like.  I am not going to worry until I hear from them.
