We're expecting a boy and a girl in July!!
We're pretty set on naming baby boy Jackson (Jack) Douglas. As for baby girl, we dont agree on the same type of names but I think we FINALLY settled on Eloise and we'll call her Elle (Not Ellie because I dont like it). But we are pretty much baffled on a middle name for Eloise. Some family middle names are Elizabeth, Marie, Kay, and Margaret but none of those sounded quite right. Should we just get a non family name for her middle name? Suggestions welcome!
Jackson Douglas and Eloise ________ ?
Re: Middle name for Eloise? Thoughts on our twin names? :)
I like all of your family name options.
But just throwing it out there - DD is Eloise Clare
Is Douglas a family middle name? If so, you should give Eloise a family middle name as well. I nannied twins and they both had family middle names and their mom said that she either gave them both family middle names or neither!
That said, if Douglas is not a family name, I like Eloise Grace or Eloise Kate.
Something very simple like Kate.
Eloise Kate
When we considered Eloise for DD, we paired it with Victoria. I still love the combination.
Eloise Marie flows to me, and Eloise Margaret "works" if you want to stick with family names.
ETA: I have a twin sister. We both technically have family names (her fn, my mn... and my "family connection" is distant because my mn is the French version of my mom's fn, so it's not even exact). To be honest, while I appreciate the family connection, the thing I love most about my name is that my mom and dad loved it and saw it as fitting me. I am not jealous at all that my twin's fn is my mom's mn (exactly). Fwiw.
I just have to say that I adore Eloise, and Jack and Elle is a ridiculously cute twin set. Love! For MN's, I think both Eloise Kay and Eloise Elizabeth sound lovely, if you don't mind the alliteration. Other suggestions...
Eloise Anne
Eloise Faith
Eloise June
Eloise Brynn
