we use this and it works great, in fact last summer we were camping and a friend sprayed pure deet (ahhh) on his kid and my dd had the burts and didn't get one bite... no deet necessary!

Yeah my SIL claims it works also. I did it and I was all eaten up!

I think ours was called herbal armor it was sold at wholefoods we need a new bottle of it for this year but it mostly works, i still haven't found anything as good as the deet but some are close.

The Burt's Bees is good. You can also use citronella or verbena oil, if flies or Mosquitos are your main pests.

This. R only had one bite (and I think it was pre-spray) and DH and I were covered even though we had deep woods off.
