Double Stroller?

My LO is 28 months old and I'm expecting another little girl in July.  Natalie will ride in her stroller for maybe 5 minutes on evening walks before she wants out and wants to push the stroller.  She will throw an absolute fit if she can't get down.  Anyone else go through this?

My question - is it even worth getting a double stroller?

You might look into a sit and stand type stroller. That way your DD has a seat to ride on when she wants, but it isn't as bulky or large as a traditional double. I would still want someplace for her to ride when you're places like the zoo where you're walking a lot.

I just have the original travel system stroller from when Natalie was a baby.

I just got a Joovy Caboose Sit n Stand and it was totally worth it.  I tried taking DD and DS a few places by myself and just couldn't manage them both with only our normal stroller for DS.  We've taken several walks with it since we've had it, and DD loves riding on it.

Your daughter sounds exactly like my son. He's 28 months as well, and would rather push it than ride. He's never liked being confined! A co-worker gave me her barely-used sit & stand, and even though LO#2 isn't here yet, and we haven't used it, I think it will be the perfect solution for us!
