Best Aplix?

I'd like to grab a few more aplix diapers for daycare.  Right now I have 4 tots bots, which have the most awesome aplix.  I have a small stash so these get washed/worn almost every day and they still look as good as new.

 I've also tried a thirsties cover with aplix and a BG XS AIO in a newborn rental.  Both of those showed a lot of wear almost immediately. I was not at all impressed.

 I may just bite the bullet and buy more tots bots, but they are so expensive.  Are there any other diapers that have really good, strong aplix?

TotsBots are the best!

I've had the same issue with BG and Thirsties.  It's just not strong...at all.

we love kawaii heavy duty hd2 with aplix. super strong!!!

Kawaii's are shockingly good. I'm replacing a few of the aplix now, after 9 months of heavy use, but they still work. And they can't curl, which is good.

Okay, it looks like kawaii uses 2 types of aplix.  One is on the "HD2" and the "Pure and Natural" and the other is on the "Heavy Duty Microfleece".  So the one on the HD2 is the best?  Has anyone used the Pure and Natural?  It's definitely seems to be worth a try for $7

Pure and naturals are smaller - being as your baby is already 6 months, I'd go for the HD2. I have square tab aplix, which look a lot like the HD2. I think they had some quality problems and got rid of the aplix square tab, then a few months later brought in the HD2, if you know what I mean.

Grovia AI2 shells are one of the few that I see people trading snaps for applix.  It almost always is the other way around.  It has a different landing strip, kind of like felt, and the applix is more hook like on the tacky end.  Works great, even for toddlers.
