Hi everyone

 I love this board and all the advice I've gotten already and our baby isn't even here until summer! I'm trying to stock up on the diapers now so we're not hit with a huge bill all at once. That being said, can you please tell me what you think of my stash so far and let me know how many of each I realistically need? I expect to be doing laundry every other day.

Right now I have (and I've been buying some used off of ebay and buying some new or on sale at various places).

- 2 fuzzibuns AIO

- 5 thirsties wraps (4 are combo diapers) (2 size 1, 3 size 2)

- 2 kawaii wraps

- 1 kawaii AIO nighttime diaper 

-  6 kushies AIO newborn size

- 2 kushies medium

- 5 medium unknown brand AIO 

- about 15-20 prefolds

- Econobum one size

- 3 hemp inserts

- variety of other inserts 

 We plan to use a mix of AIO's and prefolds with covers. So I'm wondering how many covers I need in each size as well. 

I've also ordered some of CJ's Butter.

I wouldn't expect much out of the Kushies. Your AIOs won't fit until your LO reaches 13 lbs or so. You're going to need at least 36 of whatever you're going to be using for the newbie stage, and 24 of whatever you're going to be using after that stage.

I would get at least another dozen prefolds, and 3 more small covers for your NB stash.  Double that if you don't want to do laundry every day.

i went with one-size diapers, all the same kind that way it's always the same when the time comes to put them on LO. that way it's easier for babysitter, grandma and for hubby too.

Yeah, don't do this. It's a great way to sink hundreds of dollars into something that may not work for your baby. If I would have done this and bought fuzzibuns I would have quit the first month in.
