When does the 3rd tri begin??

I am 25 weeks today and reading through one of my pg books that is broken down by month, week 25 was in the 7 month chapter- and it started talking about the third tri.

I assume its not until about 26-28 weeks right?

Most places say 28 weeks, but some say 27.

the ticker I use says I am still in my 2nd tri at 27 weeks.  But I moved over to this board at 27 weeks and have been welcomed with open arms:)

I agree with 26.666..... I rounded up to 27 weeks

I go by 13.3 for 2nd tri and 26.6 starts 3rd. If you take 40 weeks and divide by 3 thats your answer.

Hi.  I'm 27 weeks today and on the bump on the box on the upper right where it says how many weeks you are, the link to the forum changed to 3rd trimester today.  It was 2nd trimester yesterday.... So I guess I'm officially here now.
