My voodoo tampon hasn't worked all week...still on the waiting game. In 3 years I havn't had to wait any more than 3 days after AF was due, so of course I got to hoping and praying and decided to poas again this morning again -
Does anyone else get your hopes up when you are later than usual?
This next cycle I will be sure to take my temps, bc although RE said it wasn't necessary with the OPK I'd like to still know what's going on with my body (especially since I had no signs what so ever, bloating/tenderness/fatigue-like I usually get with AF).
Also, yesterday a friend suggested I think about doing the Creighton Method...after researching it a bit, I feel like it's only for fertiles.

Re: Hopefully AF comes today, poas again why idk
Oh goodness... Isn't the Creighton Method the supposed "infertility treatment" that the Pope approves. Where it's basically charting... "understanding your fertility and infertility" means knowing when your fertile window is and during the rest of your cycle, you are infertile. It has nothing to do with infertility.
Im never later than usual. The opks always pinpoint ovulation and my luteal phase is very consistent, so no advice there. Good luck!
This was 100% me last week. I literally could've written this post.
My cycle is like clockwork - 30 or 31 days with O on day 18 or 19.
I ended up going 33 days. I also poas twice. Obviously BFN's.
In addition, this was the first cycle that I didn't use OPK's or temp - so I had no idea if my O date changed...
It was maddening - but it appeared to work itself out. However - like you, I"ll be going back to monitoring myself this month. Even though we have a very minimal chance of getting pregnant natrually I still like to go for the gold and time it right each month!
