Evelyn seems to have a snorty/snotty nose that seems to get worse after eating. I went to the Ped to have them take a look since I had a hard time getting anything out of her nose or mouth, so they told me to use the saline drops to flush her out. I hate doing it.....it scares me that I'm going to drown her, but my pedi said that was the point....to get her to cough it up. Anyone else have a better suggestion? Is this maybe a sign of an allergy to my breastmilk?
Also, my milk supply has decreased slightly, I used to be able to get anywhere between 3-4oz per breast in 10 minutes, now it seems to take me 20-30 minutes to get 2oz per breast. Granite I haven't been drinking as much fluids, so I'm working on that, do you think that is what is going on? I pump mostly and make sure I don't go longer than 5 hours between pumping sessions. Evelyn only drinks 2- 2.5 oz every 3 hours. She tends to be drinking more often the last couple days (growth spurt I'm assuming). What amount are your little one's drinking and how often? I'm feeding her only BM right now and not needing to supplement, and my Pedi says I must have high calorie milk because she's gaining weight and not to worry how much she's eating.
thanks in advance for suggestions and responses!

Asher is congested too. I remember my other kids doing it too. I think he gets a little milk up his nose when he burps, which the others did too. Just from an immature system and it should get better soon. The Ped said to put some saline drops in and suction him out, but he seems to do ok with it so I haven't bothered.
I haven't pumped yet so I have no idea how much I'm making. But, I am having some forceful letdown right now which will adjust itself soon. I could probably pump really fast right now with the forceful letdown, so my guess is that things are evening out.
I am exclusively pumping, and feeding DS with a bottle. He eats every 2 1/2 - 4 hours, anywhere from 75 to 100 ml a feed (30 ml = 1 oz). He had been eating almost 4 ounces per feeding, but he was having some major spit-up issues, and reducing how much milk he gets was one suggestion from the pediatrician (it hasn't worked that great...).
Every now and then we get a 5 hour stretch, which is awesome!
As for the amount, I am a crazy milk producing mama. I get anywhere from 5-7 ounces if I pump every three hours, and if I wait and pump closer to five or six hours, then I can get as much as 10-12 ounces. DS turned three weeks old yesterday, and I have already gotten over 100 ounces in the freezer...
