No AF after Provera?

If you used Provera, and you didn't get AF in a few days, what did you do?

At what point did you stop waiting for AF to show up and call the doctor?

What treatment did the doctor put you on after?

Is this something I should even be concerned about only 5 days after finishing Provera?

I was told when I took it that is may take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks later. I'm sorry but I hope that gives you a little comfort.

Ok. So that's not what my OB told me, but it's encouraging that it's a possibility that it's going to work/is working!

I took my last pill 8 days ago and AF showed up about 2 hours ago! If I were you i'd wait 14 days and then call...but hopefully she will show her face before then.

I'm so sorry sweetie!  From what I read, the average is 3 to 10 days after stopping Provera.  If I am remembering correctly, my doctor told me to call 2 weeks from last pill if no period.

My dr always said it could take up to two weeks after the last pill. The one time I took it and did not start AF right away, though, was when I ovulated after I finished the pills. I had to wait out my LP, which really threw off theschedule for my next cycle and was pretty frustrating.

I see that you had a + OPK today, do you think you may be about to O? That could throw off the Provera. ((hugs)) I hope the witch shows up soon for you!

Yes- I totally got a +OPK today, and it was a no doubt about it positive.  I wish I hadn't stopped temping.  I figured the Provera was going to give me AF so I let myself take time off from temping and sleep in.  Now I'm wishing I knew what was going on better.  Maybe it was just that I O'd or am going to soon.  It would be awesome if I actually did!

I hope you found that encouraging and not the opposite. I would say after about 2 weeks I would call if she still doesn't show. My doctor only told me this after my third round that I was lucky to have it work so quick and that it doesn't for some. Again I hope you found it to be good info! GL!!
