I found out last week that I was pregnant with my first--around 6 weeks, only to find out a few days later that my HCG levels had plummeted and a MC was imminent.  I'm really struggling right now.  People keep throwing platitudes at me "it wasn't meant to be", "you weren't that far along", "you only knew for a week, so why is it such a big deal?"

 I'm truly devastated.  Any words of encouragement for someone that has made it to the other side would be greatly appreciated.  I think the worst part is that physcially I still "feel" pregnant--sore breasts etc.  It seems a cruel trick of nature.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I hope you are able to find hope and healing.  I would recommend you post on the miscarriage/pregnancy loss board as this board mostly has women with late loss/stillbirth/infant loss and the other board will probably be able to relate to your situation a bit better.  Again, I'm so very sorry for your loss.  Big hugs.

I agree that the miscarriage board might be more helpful to you than we would be here.  I would also like to say, though, that I'm so sorry for your loss.  Losing a baby at any stage of pregnancy is devastating and I wish you much healing in the days to come!
