Late Term and Child Loss

Monday Bible verses

For those of you who didn't see this last week, a few of us decided to share comforting Bible verses with each other on Mondays. If anyone would like to join in, feel free.

How is everybody? I pray for healing for all our broken hearts and that we may all find truth and hope in God's Word.

Here are a few verses that I like...

Psalms 34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart....

Psalms 56:8 Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

Isaiah 53:3-4 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows..

You may have noticed my name on here is"blessedhope." I took that from the book of Titus that I named my son after. Titus 2:13-14 says, Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity...

Titus 1:2 says, "In hope of eternal life, that God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began"    that is my "blessedhope." I have hope of seeing my baby again because God promised me eternal life through His Son

What do these verses mean to you? (reading them in context may help give you a better understanding)

Would anyone else like to share some comforting verses today?

(((hugs))) to everyone

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you (Matthew 7:7, NLT).

Thanks for doing this.  I find so much comfort in God's word and promises.

It's so good to know that even if I don't have all the answers God promises if I seek I will find

  • Hey ladies,

Sorry I'm late to this, but I'm so glad you all posted. Here is a verse someone shared with me recently:

?If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.? Exodus 15:26 (bold added)

I am doing okay. I struggle with a lot of anger at God still, so I'm trying to learn how to express that and still have faith in Him.I guess that goes back to Matt. 7:7. If we keep trying, He will open the door to us.

Hi mrssoprano, Good to see ya!

What you are talking about reminds me of the man in mark chapter 9 that says to Jesus, "...Lord, I believe; help thou my unbelief." I have prayed this many times asking God to show me truth.
