Another PP pad question

Anyone have any comparisons on which is the softest, in a lighter absorbancy?  I'm only having light bleeding (yes, it's too much for a liner) and the constant pads are irritating the heck out of my skin.

  • What are you currently using?

  • I'm honestly not sure.  I'm using what I used before getting pregnant, so it's been awhile since I bought them, and I put them in a drawer in the bathroom.  I believe they might be the Walgreens version of Always Ultra Thin.

  • I always had issues with the generic version of pads. I would try the Always Infinity. They are much softer than even the ultra thins. I didn't care for the absorbency as much but they were more like soft cotton.

  • God that sounds nice.  Will have to give them a try!

  • I agree- Always Infinity are thin and absorbent. But also pick up some feminine wipes (or use some baby wipes) to help clean up down there. I find that too much moisture will irritate my skin.

  • Yeah, I've been trying to only use my peri bottle when I really aggravate my stitches, blot well, and air dry as much as possible.  I've been using my kiddo's CJ's Butter as well, which has helped, but it's still annoying me.  The off-brand ones are quite nice and absorbant, but I never have to wear them this many days in a row usually to see about the chafing thing.
