Hmmmm my LO has been drooling a lot too.  Did your DD's eating schedule change?  My LO has been WAY off her normal schedule.

 Our son is 3 months and 1 week old and he is drooling like crazy! and has been super fussy!

MIne started teething just this week!  I'm not looking forward to getting bitten!  She is so fussy too!

Squeaker starting teething this week it is uncommon but not unheard of to get teeth at 3 months. Some babies are even born with teeth!

I have to keep a bib on Maeve otherwise her shirt is completely soaked. She's been gnawing on her bottles and sticking her fingers in her mouth to gnaw on as well. I haven't seen anything yet, but you never know!

Benjamin has been drooling a lot lately too, and been a lot more fussy than normal. I wonder if he's teething too. I looked, but didn't see anything yet, but I think his gums are definitely getting harder. I had to start using lanolin again

Salivary glands have finished development fully at 3 months old, hence all the new droolers!!! Babies can get teeth at three months however, it's not common.  People mistake the intense sudden drooling for teething, which is not the case.  Babies at this age also get really good with hand to mouth motion and with the hand always getting to the mouth and drooling, one thinks that they are teething, or having breakthrough pain from a tooth!

BTW, learned this in nursing school from a pediatric NP who always complained it was her most frequent question lol

Ds has one coming in on the lower left. I can feel and see a white bump. I'm not looking forward to it cutting through since he's already a biter when he nurses

DS was born with all his teeth sitting in his gums.  What I mean, is you can SEE the white teeth sitting there just waiting to pop out.  We had to start using teething tablets about 3 weeks ago.  I was shocked, but when we went for his 2 month shots, the doctor confirmed that those were in fact his teeth and I wasn't going crazy.  Oy!
