Any ideas please? My DS is not at all interested in drinking anything apart from milk (BF until 6 mos, now formula). He is going to be 1yr in a couple of weeks. I have put plain water and also lightly flavoured water (ie tiny bit of juice) into various different cups with and without the sippy /sucky piece in, (and into his bottle) but he doesn't want it. Lately he has had a possible tummy bug (diarrhea) and I tried to get him to drink water/juice in case the milk was irritating him,. but he won't...any ideas welcome!
Thank you...and Happy 1st Birthday to all those beautiful May 2011 babies out there.
Re: Drinking water
As far as to keep him hydrated, maybe make Pedialyte ice cubes and put them in a mesh feeder. But I don't think him not wanting water is much of an issue yet. You could also try more juice than water in a sippy/bottle and slowly increase the amount of water. That might work, just make sure he isn't getting too much juice. HTH
