My husband is way more uptight than I am about letting DS touch/play with certain things.  For example, he will not let DS hold or play with any paper b/c he's afraid DS will get a paper cut on his hands or mouth.

SS- We are both pretty equal. However, on some things we are anal and with other issues we are pretty laid back. It just depends on the issue.

I might be a pinch more anal than DH. He is a laid back person about EVERYTHING else but his anal'ness comes in nicely when DD is concerned, when needed.

DH is so paranoid about letting LO try new foods.  He's deathly afraid LO will get an allergic reaction.  I just convinced him last week to let LO try strawberries.

H is definitely more uptight. With both kids. He is constantly freaking out about everything DD does.

I probably should have clicked SS because we both have our things we're anal about (me being food, nutrition, allergies, etc.) and DH safety.  Not that I'm not concerned about safety, but I think since I spend more time with Ty I see him do more (like he can get off the couch himself if guided the right way), whereas when DH saw this happening he flipped out that Ty was falling.  I was right there dude, he was OK!
