Dumb Question?

Tomorrow it will be one week since my miscarriage began. Today I took a pregnancy test and it said "not pregnant". So does this mean the hormones are officially gone from my body and the bleeding may stop soon?

12/12- IUI #4- Cancelled due to Cyst
1/13- IUI #4.1- 100iu Follistim and HCG Trigger- BFN
2/9/13- Started BCP in prep for IVF #1

    Unfortunately your hcg level does not really affect your bleeding.  Your bleeding will stop when the place where they embryo was implanted heals and the thickened lining and all are expelled completely.

    Different brands of pregnancy tests have different levels of sensitivity.  The average seems to be around 20-30, so it may just mean that your beta has dropped below this level.  The level needs to drop to zero before your body will start cycling again.  You are close though, so hopefully it will be soon for you.  Sorry for your loss.
