.. with baby shower gifts when you get way more of a particular item than baby could possibly need and no gift receipt? I'm at my wits end because I've tried Walmart and JCPenny (only stores we have in our town) and it doesn't come from either of those places. I know it doesn't come from Macy's either. So I can drive 1/2 hour each way and see if it comes from Target or ShopKo, but it seems like a waste of time right now especially for 4 items.

 I'm okay with having a few extra's but honestly baby doesn't need 15-20, 0-3 month sleepers. Definitely frustrating that not everyone gives gift receipts.

Know anyone pregnant? If its nice stuff, you could regift it. Donate it. Pack it up just in case you need it.

Can you download the barcode app for your phone? I've found which stores carry something by scanning it before..doesn't always work but sometimes it does! Or if it was a certain brand (JOY, Circo, Cherokee) you know it came from Target, but if it's Gerber that really doesn't narrow it down. 

You could always just save them and give them to a friend having a baby or sell them at a consignment sale

I thought that the baby wouldn't need so many different clothes, but I was wrong.  The main issue is that there is no standard size.  There can be a 5 inch difference in the 0-3 month clothes that I have.  Some of  the premies were bigger than some the 0-3 months.  Pilar is only 2 1/2 weeks and has out grown several outfits already.

Have you heard of thredup ? You can trade kids + baby clothes - and the barely worn ones (and esp not worn) usually go first so I'm sure it'll work!

Not sure if you have one near you but there are also kids/baby consignment/used clothing stores that will gladly take the clothes and maybe you can get a good amt of cash for them to buy other stuff you need!
