I'm a newbie to the message boards, but I feel like I need support from the TTC community. My husband and I are in our earlier 30s and had been TTC for about a year and half. We finally decided that we needed to see a ferility doc to figure out if there was anything that could be preventing us from getting prego. All tests came back positive, which was both assuring and disappointing. If nothing was wrong, then why weren't we getting pregnant? At least if something was wrong, we would know and could try and fix it. 

In January I started clomid. It worked really well producing 3 follicles, but had a negative effect on my lining. I had to go on estrogen patches to  thicken up the lining. That go my lining up to 8.5 which is good, but it need to be btwn 9-12. I also noticed that I did have a lot of CM that cycle. The outcome of the cycle was negative. So the next two cycles we halfed the dose of clomid and added gonal-f. They induced ovulation. Still no BFP. I guess our next step is IUI.  

After almost 2 years of trying, I just feel so emotionally and mentally exhausted. My husband and I want so badly to be parents. I just don't know how much more of this I can take and we've only really just started ferility treatments. It's just so hard watching everyone else around me (even those not trying) get pregnant.

I know I'm not alone. I know that there are others that have been through worse, that have been trying longer, but it just feels so hopeless, like it's never going to happen for us

    Welcome and I'm sorry you have to be here.  It sounds like you are in the right place though.  It sounds like you were monitored well while on Clomid and I'm sorry it didn't work for you.  Has you H had an SA?  Is there any issues on that end that would point to IUI instead of TI?  How many treatment cycles have you had with what protocols?

    However you will find lots of support from people who get it on this board!

    Welcome...I'm sorry you have to be here too.  You are not alone.  I feel many of the emotions you shared, and my DH and I also have unexplained infertility.  Hope your stay here is short.

    Same as PP.  So sorry you have to be here, but you will find a great support system as well as a ton of great advice!  Problems when TTC is incredibly difficult and emotional, but be strong and keep your head up; and hopefully your stay here is short!! GL!!

    Welcome! It's nice to get support from women going through the same difficulties, which is why I love this board. I'm so sorry you have to be here but I hope you do not have to be here long.

    Have you been tested for any immune issues or checked things like thyroid levels?  It might be worth having those checked if you didn't.  Best of luck to you!

    Yes, H had 2 SA. The first test was done at a lab and we took the results to our RE. He said that the results weren't valid. He had H do the test over at a hospital and his results came back normal. Nothing wrong with him.

     I had an HSG, recommended by my GYN before I started going to the RE. Everything came back clear. I was really hopefully after the HSG because my GYN said a lot of women get prego after the procedure because it flushes out the tubes. No such luck in my case.

    We started seeing the RE in January. I just finished my third cycle of clomid and ovidrel with TI. Gonal-F was added these last two cycles.

    Yes, I had blood test to check my thyroid levels, twice. Everything was normal.

    Unrelated...I was sick and went to my primary. My glands were swollen. He was feeling my neck and said that he thought my thyroid was enlarged. I had an US and I have two nodules on my thyroid that are beign. My ENT says that my thyroid is not affecting myfertility. My RE aggreed.
