Mabel with the nn Mae or just Mae

So the name Mae is currently on our list, i really love the simple old fashioned names. i was looking at a name website and saw Mabel which was my great grandmothers name and i just fell inlove with it, we would still call her Mae as a nickname though...thoughts?

I like Mae by itself, but Mabel would be good to honor your GG.

I love both names, but I like the simplicity of Mae on its own. Overall, I think it's a prettier name as well.

But I do appreciate using Mabel to honor your grandmother, so I'm not anti-that option.
