Bad Contractions

Last night I had 4 strong contractions in about 15-20 minutes. I got really excited that it might be happening but I also had pressure that felt like I had to poop so I told DH that this might be it but I was going to try to poop. Sure enough, big poop and then like 2 more super weak contractions and then nothing.

Grrrr. WTF is wrong with my body this time? I'm pretty sure that I will never have this baby! At least, while I was in the bathroom, DH started getting things ready for our trip to L&D and picked up the house.

Ugh. So frustrating. I think I was better of as a FTM because I wasn't comparing it to anything. Or with DS2 it was my first vaginal birth attempt, so I had no idea what to expect. Now, I feel like i'm thinking it should go exactly like my DS2 did - bloody show at 39weeks, contrations 12 hours later, baby 24 hours later at 39 weeks 2 days. Now i'm at 1cm, and i'm not effaced at all and I know i'm only 38weeks but i'm already frustrated, even though my m/w keeps telling me dialation/effacement means nothing at this point with a 3rd baby.

I hate to say this, but Mother Nature can be a catty b!sh for sure! She has every right to be, but I know she likes playing with us.

It's so true! And if it wasn't for this board I would have thought I was in labor 900 times by now. Who knew that having contractions all day long could mean NOTHING!? Ugh.
