new to the board and looking into cloth diapers [help please]

ok so as a baby my mother used cloth diapers on me. im really interested in it but, back in the day they had a service that would come pick up the diapers and i being the youngest in the family and the only daughter to consider cloth diapers my mom isnt to sure if they have these services ne more. so just wonder if ne one knows of ne and possibly websites or somthing...

    There are still services in some areas. Personally, I think it was more cost effective to buy prefolds and covers than to use a service.

    Some areas have services; my area doesn't. But I think it is much cheaper to just watch them yourself. It can seem intimidating at first but it doesn't take long to get the hang of it.

    Obviously whether or not your area has a diaper service depends on your area. Try looking in the yellow pages or googling around ("diaper service" + "your city").

    In my area, the service is about $20 a week. It's way cheaper to just buy your own prefolds and covers and washing them yourself. It's really not difficult to wash them yourself.
