My little girl is quite the mop head, but finally got banned from wearing hairbows at daycare since she's been able to get them off and into her mouth...I recently started pulling the front into a ponytail and have used one of my hair ties to do so. Any recommendations for clips, barretts or ties that won't slip and don't hurt a little one's head?
TIA!

I agree with Swimiz--the small rubberbands in the adult section. I think they are made by Goody, and they say "ouchless" on the packaging (although, I can tell you from experience that they are NOT 100% ouchless in that fine baby hair). They are clear. DD hasn't been able to get them out during nap time (I wrap them around her ponytail 3x). As far as clips/barrettes, DO NOT use "alligator clips!" Those are the easiest for LOs to get out. I got some on Etsy that are cute and stay in her hair well. I use them in addition to the rubberband to add a little flava!

I guess it's a little different, then. We use these, but they're definitely not $9 at Target!
No these aren't $9 either, that is just for some huge bulk pack on amazon, but I couldn't find them at Target.com. I know which ones you mean, I worried about those sticking in her hair. We do have some but I haven't used them yet.
