questions for 9 month appt

What questions did you or do you plan to ask at the 9 month appt?

I'm drawing a blank and DS has his at 3:15.

I have a few, like how much he should be eating and drinking and when and how to switch to milk, but thats it.  Help!

Can you ask about fluoride?  We forgot to.  :-)

No fluoride toothpatse until your LO learns to spit it out and not swallow; this is usually until age 2-3.  Giving tap water with fluoride is better for teeth than bottled.  We use a filter that doesn't remove the fluoide.

We just had our appt on Wednesday and we asked about:

• Finger foods
• Long Road Trips
• Swimming
• Bike Riding (Meaning can he sit in the trailer behind the bike)
• Sentiments re: high allergen foods, So what age do they recommend for eggs, strawberries, pb, etc
•  Waiting period between new foods
• Any other activities that you may forsee yourself doing that you may want guidance on between now and July
• How long he should be nursing (Is it okay if it's 3 times a day? What if he's distracted?)

Thanks!  Our tap water does not have fluoride so they talked about adding a fluoride supplement...  I guess it's different town-to-town.

Yeah we were given a fluoride vitamin at DD's 6 month appointment.

The only other thing we asked was is if it was okay that our little piggy ate 2 jars of stage 3 for every meal. Apparently, it was.
