I saw in a previous post that your docs aren't doing many extra ultrasounds and didn't suggest anything different because this is a twin pg. I know it is early, and I don't want to sound like I'm trying to scare you, but I'd want to check in to that a bit more.
There are many things you should be aware of when having twins, first of all regarding your diet and weight gain. And while things may be great, I'd be wanting more frequent ultrasounds - I think most of us had them at least monthly. Anyways, I just wanted to suggest checking into your doctor's experience with multiple pg. I would want someone who was very experienced and telling me all of these things from the beginning.
Best of luck to you!
Re: *Bellebaby*
Thanks for the post. I would like more u/s, but I think if I request them, they have to be paid for out of pocket. I guess considering what we've spent to get this far with IVF, a little more $$ for peace of mind shouldn't matter. This OB is supposed to be really good, but the people that have recommended them (my RE included) never mentioned whether they had a lot of experience with multiples and how they handle them.
I'll look into things a little more and maybe call me IVF nurse. She was awesome and may be able to help me out some.
Thanks again for the advice. It's always appreciated, especially from people who have been through this.
