Can anyone recommend a good beach towel?

I see kids beach towels online, but I want one that is thick and absorbent.

Any recommendations?

I see that they have 'mini' towels regular ones.  I think maybe the regular ones would be huge for a 3 year old.  Which did you get?

I know you said you wanted a thick towel, but after lugging big, heavy towels to the beach & the pool last year, and then lugging big, heavy, sopping wet towels home, I finally got smart.  I picked up a few of those cheapy super thin ones from Christmas Tree Shop...I think they were $2 each.  They were lightweight, did an a-ok job drying the boy off, and when I laid them out over a chair they were dry again in no time.  That was a huge pro for me, especially since DS would come in & out of the water like crazy.  It was nice to have a dry towel in just 10 minutes.  Just a thought
