I have a potty training question...Bryson is full time pee trained. He wears underwear ALL day except for sleeping. He's not pooping on the potty yet b/c typically he wakes up from nap & bed with a poopy diaper. The problem is, he will NOT pee at school on the potty. If I send him in undies, he holds it until nap time, then leaks through his nap diaper. They try to have him sit on the potty with each diaper change, but typically he is resistant and has YET to pee on their potty.
I also usually take his portable potty seat EVERYWHERE with us b/c he will NOT use the big toilet. He will stand at home (on his little potty) to use the big potty but if we're out somewhere, he won't let me hold him up so he can aim & we end up running out to the car so he can go there.
I've tried a ring for the toilet & he's completely resistant to that idea too. ANY suggestions? I'm SO sick and tired of buying diapers to send to school. At home he uses a pull up for nap & bed.

He's terrified to sit on the big potty...he will only stand to use it. They have tried allowing him to stand at school & he won't do that either. I asked about a potty seat there & they won't allow it I may have to start bribing him...
He wakes about 50% of the time from nap dry. I'm not worried about him still wearing a diaper at nap & bed bc the pediatrician reassured me that at 2 1/2 its not anything to push.

I would forget the nap diaper.  He will learn really fast he can hold it or he will be wet during nap.  Stop taking the portable potty everywhere.  He needs to learn to use the big toilet.  Throw it away and let him watch and see that it is gone.  He is playing the game because you are allowing it.
