Back from Vacation!

Just wanted to pop on my favorite board and say "Hi"! We are back from vacation, and it went amazingly well. Pumpkin was a superstar traveler (no surprise). Did awesome with the driving. Loved the swimming and the hotel.

We both let our breath out around friends who are like family--several have foster/adoptive kids as well. Felt a lot of comfort and support--not a lot of "being the different/strange family."

We stayed in a hotel 2 nights, and then with friends for 2 nights. We were supposed to stay with friends 3 nights, but I think their cats were really bothering his allergies/asthma. He was having a hard time breathing, so we left a night early. Don't worry--we stopped on the way home, grabbed a cheap hotel, and made plenty of damage at the outlet malls.

It's good to be back!
