So here are lots of pictures. The top ones are from their newborn photo shoot a couple weeks ago, and on the bottom are pictures of both of their nurseries.
These are of Isabella?s Room and her Mobile that we made:
These are of Gabriel?s Room and the wooden alphabet letters that we made for him:
So these nurseries are 95% done. We still want to take some of their pictures from the photo shoot and put them in frames, but no big deal. Feels good to be pretty much done. Especially with those letters and the mobile?so much work!

Amazing babies! And fantastic room! Great job!
Side question: they have separate rooms? We talked about this but didn't know how it would work. What made you decide to go this route, if you don't mind sharing.
Glad everyone likes their rooms, and thanks for asking about it. I guess we originally thought about separate rooms when we bought the house 3 yrs ago. We were looking at only 4 bedroom + houses thinking that if we had two kids they would have separate rooms (plus room for office/spare bed). We also wanted at least 2 bedrooms by the master so they were close to us.
Finding out that they were boy/girl we thought that it should only be a couple years that they share a room, so why not divide them from the beginning? Other reasons were that the nursery furniture we liked (and got) is very big and bulky compared to other types and the rooms would have been too tight, had they shared. Another reason is that I've heard of them 'feeding off each other' and keeping one another awake.
They are still in the pack & play and/or rock and play in our room at this point and I can TOTALLY see how they feed off one another. If she makes one peep, he has to respond, and vice versa. Sometimes it's really hard for them to fall asleep or stay asleep for that reason. We're hoping *fingers crossed* when they switch to their rooms they will sleep better.
They will be together ALL the time during the day, so hopefully they will accept being separated at night. : )
The babies are beautiful and the rooms are gorgeous!
When the time comes, you're going to have to tell me how you made the mobile! I absolutely love it!

Those nurseries are GORGEOUS.
Even more gorgeous are the babies and those photos, which makes me REALLY excited because we have the same newborn photographer!
So cute...the babies and the nurseries!!!
