Update and thank you

Hi, everyone,

After waiting two and half weeks to miscarry naturally, I finally went in for a manual vacuum aspiration yesterday.  It was a rough day. They had to "fit me in," so I arrived at noon and the procedure did not start until after 5. Since this was not a full D&C, but a dilation and evacuation, they just gave me a large dose of ativan and some percoset. It was painful at times, but manageable, and, frankly, I'm just happy to have it behind me. It has been a rough few weeks. Thanks to everyone for your support and special thanks to those of you that responded when I was asking a lot of questions to determine which route to take.

    I'm so sorry for your loss.  I can't imagine having that done while awake, but glad that it was manageable for you.  I wish you a speedy recovery.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

    So sorry for your loss and the tough day! Glad you can start to move forward after the time you spent waiting.
