How many days did your DD go without pooping before the Dr. Had you come in?

Did she poop even a little bit during her 20something day hold off?

My pedi mentioned that bfeed babies can go days without pooping, at the time I didn't pay much attention to her because my DS was pooping all the time. Now he went 5 days then another 5 but only pooped a little. So I'm wondering when I should call the Dr.

For the first time she said a week. She felt her stomach to see if there was bloating or signs of obstruction. If your LO is throwing up, grunting a lot, or acting in pain those are signs of something needing to be addressed. She didn't poop even a tiny bit when she went 23 days. She went 10 after that. We are on day 3 now again. I would call your pedi and get their opinion and see if they want LO to come in.

Thanks for replying. He's fine no signs of pain or anything. I just wasn't sure when to call since she's mentioned that he'd go like 5 days. Tomorrow will be day 5 so I'll call if nothing happens today.
