T Middle Names [Boy]

For some reason I am set on having a middle name for our future son begin with a T.

I just want something short, strong, and not too terribly unique. My husband likes Twain, Tyrus, and has even started suggesting names with other letters (Cooper, being one). I just don't like any of them.

The first name we think we have settled on is a bit unusual [since it's not set in stone I don't want to post it just yet] but I just want to scout out a traditional middle name. I'd love for it to have family significance, but unfortunately we ran through that list and didn't come to any agreements. My grandfather's middle name was Theodore and I *love* it but my husband isn't having it.

What about Thaddeus? I love that name!

I think Theodore, being your g-father's mn, would be perfect. Why doesn't your DH like it?

Boo, I was going to say Theodore. It's one of my favs and I think it's a perfect mn, especially since it has meaning to you

What about just Theo? Travis, Tanner, Tucker, Thatcher, Taylor, Tyler, Ty, Trevor are other T names that come to mind. GL!

Our last name sounds Russian even though we aren't and has 3 syllables. Like Butcherkhsgwhsv. Haha.

The first name we are pretty much set on is 2 syllables...and it's a little out there but nothing that no one hasn't heard before. I was hoping to find a simple one syllable name but Theodore really is making me reconsider. Adding it as a middle name makes the whole name sound distinguished... just long.

He just brushed the suggestion under the rug so to speak. I am going to ask him again about it but wanted some other "T" names for ammo.

I see you are about halfway there. Why not sit on the conversation awhile and bring it up in a few weeks? My DH's opinion changed all the time. First he hated named, then he loved them....so wishy-washy. If I found a name I liked, I waited before I asked DH about it to be sure I liked it. Then I only listed my favs. :-) One name DH never budged on was Josephine. I still love that name, haha.
