so frustrated with H

Last night I wasn't feeling good so I asked if he would stop by the store to pick up some groceries so I could go straight home after work and lay down.  He took unusually long doing the shopping so when he got hom I asked him what took so long.  He apparently ran into some people we know and started talking.  When he starts talking . . it's hard to shut him up

Anyway, one of the people he ran into was the girl that set us up.  This is the same girl who after setting us up, went around gossiping about our relationship to H's ex and ended up causing a lot of problems early in our relationship.  Since then, we have cut off all contact with her. However, she still works with my mom (where I also used to work so a lot of people know me there).    Long story short, he told her we are expecting.

She is going to tell everyone!  I don't say that because I think she is so wrapped up in my life that she has nothing better to do.  She is the kind of person who likes to dish whatever news she knows to everyone who will listen.  I'm so frustrated.  There are lots of people there that I am close to that I wanted to tell and even more frustrated that someone I don't even want as a part of my life gets to share our big news.

I just can't believe of all people, he told her.  I don't mind him telling people because this is his child too and he is just as excited as me, but just not her.  Ugh. Plus, my mom will end up hearing the majority of it because as soon as people hear, they are going to ask her.  And as luck would have it, mom is not exactly supportive of this pregnancy.  Grr.

Ouch. I feel for you. Try to stay focused on the fact that his lapse in judgment was due to his excitement. At the end of the day his love and support should be what helps you through this entire process, and the drama and other people's feelings won't matter.

Ugh! I have those moments as well with hubby. I just do not think guys get it!!
