  • Plenty of them out there.  Nature Made and Nature's Bounty are two.  Walmart sells both.

  • You're Dr should recommend something for you or ask for samples so you can find  a brand you like. I like the natures Bounty brand I find easy to swallow and easy on the stomach as well.
  • i'm taking the target brand, slow release iron. I haven't had any problems with it. I took it in to my OB and he ok'd it.

  • I take Slow FE, a slow release iron pill. Its been good.
  • I use Nature's Made. Just found out that I'm anemic last week and have been taking supplements for 5 days now. Doctor told me to take it at a different time than my prenatal...

  • My dr. told me that I am slightly anemic too after the GTT. He recommended slow fe but we couldn't find it at walmart and went for Spring Valley High Potency Iron 27mg instead. Showed that to my dr. during my last visit and he said that would work too. I have also been taking the iron supplement with OJ for better absorption.

  • My doc just recommended bifera is a slow release one, supposed to help not cause too much constipation. I bought it at Walgreens on clearance! $4.99!
